Project Data: Requirements documents, training materials, source code, architecture designs, and other deliverables produced during consulting engagements.

4. Data Handling
Client project data is handled in accordance with the applicable statement of work or contract. Client data is not shared across engagements or used for purposes outside the contracted scope.

We may use the following third-party services in the course of delivering our work:
- Cloud Providers (AWS, Azure) — for infrastructure when specified by the engagement
- AI Language Models — for accelerating training design and software development using proprietary tools
- GitHub — for source code management (when configured for the engagement)
- Atlassian (Jira) — for project management (when configured for the engagement)
These services have their own privacy policies. We only share the minimum data necessary for their function and as authorized by the engagement contract.
6. AI and Your Data
Edgent LLC uses proprietary AI-powered tools to accelerate delivery. Project data may be processed by AI language model providers to generate training materials, code, and documentation. We do not use client data to train AI models. All AI-generated outputs are reviewed by our team before delivery.
7. Data Retention
We retain client data for the duration of the engagement and in accordance with the applicable contract. Upon engagement completion, deliverables are transferred to the client per the statement of work. Working files are retained for 90 days post-engagement for support purposes, then securely deleted unless a longer retention period is contractually required.
8. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- TLS encryption for all data in transit
- Role-based access control for internal systems
- Encrypted storage for client deliverables
- Background checks for personnel on federal contracts (when required)
- Compliance with NIST 800-171 controls for CUI handling (when applicable)
9. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access deliverables produced under your engagement
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your data after engagement completion
- Opt out of non-essential communications
